During this winter when a lot of my co-workers were getting sick I started busting out my hand sanitizer and using it when I couldn’t wash my hands. I noticed two things; One, I really can’t stand the way it feels, that sticky over drying feeling is the worst. Two, it is completely unsustainable to keep buying those little .99 cent plastic bottles of hand sanitizer. So I did some research and started making my own. I’ve been really happy with this recipe and I know you will enjoy it too. Check out my new vlog below and let me know what you think.
1 Empty spray bottle
Tea Tree essential oil
- Fill your empty spray bottle a little more than 2/3 with Witch Hazel.
- Add about 30 drops of Tea Tree essential oil (a little less than a 1/3).
- Shake the bottle, spray 2 to 3 pumps in the palm of your hands and rub hands together.
I hope you have been staying happy and healthy this winter season!
