DIY Foaming Hand Soap – VLOG!

DSC04486

I am very excited and a bit nervous to post this today! Below is my first vlog (video blog), vlogging has been something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time but kept putting off until everything was just right (and let’s be real when does that ever happen?). We put off every little dreams because of the fear of what others may think or say; but today I’m putting all those mean voices in my head aside and pushing the publish button. I truly hope you will watch it and give this super simple recipes a try in your home.

Ingredients

  1. Foaming hand pump reusable jar or empty plastic bottle with dispenser
  2. 3 Tablespoons of castile soap
  3. 5 to 7 drops of your favorite essential oil
  4. Filtered water *Remember this recipe is for an 8oz bottle.

Thank you so much for watching. I’d love to know if you like the volg format and/or if you think you will be giving this simple non-toxic recipe a try to help reduce your waste and save a buck.

  1. Congrats on your first vlog! I loved it. I was doing exactly what you recommended–started with using my old Method foaming pump dispenser for over 2 years, and then I finally upgraded to a glass dispenser that I bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I can’t highly recommend it enough! The glass bottle gives it extra weight, so it’s really easy to pump with one hand and not worry about it slipping or tipping over. Also, I’ve tried Castille soap before but just don’t like it. I use the soap for both washing dishes in the sink and as hand soap, and I found it just didn’t clean the dishes and get all the grime and oil off as well as I would have liked. So I’ve just been pouring in dish soap instead and find that works great! Well…keep the vlogs coming. I really enjoyed this one! :)
