Happy New Year! I hope your year is off to a great start, I’ve been dreaming about the adventures to come in 2016. It’s one of my favorite things to do this time of year. I’m sure you know from my post a month ago about, green living healthy travel tips, that I went to Morocco in October with Tyler. We had an amazing time, it was like no where I’ve ever been; a totally new experience, which I love. A lot of friends and family were curious about the cool things I brought back, so I thought I’d share with you all as well.
This time each year I like to reflect on the past year, give thanks, remember the lessons learned and leave what isn’t serving me. 5 days ago I started an Instagram challenge #happyhighlights to help make sure I give thanks and start 2016 excited and clear for all that is to come. I’ve been posting a photo each day on Instagram and Facebook of a highlight from this past year, it’s been such a fun way to reflect on all the good that happened over the past 12 months. I’d love for you to join me on Instagram, Facebook, in the comments below or even in your personal journal. There’s still time, there’s 5 days left of the year!
Winter has finally arrived here in San Diego and when I was pulling out my sweaters that I had packed away clean last year they smelled a bit musty. I didn’t want to have to wash them all again so I made this all natural linen and fabric spray; because DIYing and green living are best friends. I’ve been loving this spray and have been using it on everything like my sweaters, the bed lines and couch non stop.
Over the long Thanksgiving Holiday weekend Tyler and I road tripped out to Sedona, Arizona to spend the weekend hiking and exploring the town. While I was there I had to get some new makeup so I filmed this short video on minimal all natural makeup that’s perfect for travel. That way on your next trip you can pack less while using healthy green beauty products.
